This 5 days Murchison and Kibale tour starts and ends in Kampala. You will start visit Murchison Falls National Park, which is regarded as one of the most beautiful parks in Uganda. With its mighty Murchison Falls as well as a diversity of wildlife, the park is home to the Big Four, one can view all the Big Five. You will carry out a Nile cruise and game drives. Later, drive to Kibale Forest National Park. In the forest, there are chimpanzees and other animals. There will also be birding at the Bigodi Birding Sanctuary, Local community tours and Guided nature walks around the park.
Day 1: Depart for Murchison Falls National Park
Depart for Murchison Falls National Park; the biggest national park in Uganda with an area of 3840 sqkm.The River Nile divides the park into North and South sectors and forms a fall where it flows over the western rift valley escarpment. Here the river is forced through a seven meter gap in the rocks and cascades into a boiling pot 43 meters below with a thundering roar and a beautiful rainbow.

Day 2: Game drive and Launch Cruise
After an early breakfast game drive in the Northern sector of the park, it is with in this park that the natural beauty of the Nile is perfected. You will come across herds of elephants, giraffes, antelopes, Uganda Kobs, buffaloes, waterbucks, lions, and several bird species also the unusual saddle bill storks. Be back in time for your lunch. In the afternoon take a 3 hour launch cruise to the bottom of the falls you will come across pools of hippos, be meters away from the toothsome crocodiles with jaws wide open, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, lions, waterbucks, several antelope species, and a lot of birdlife. Day 3: Depart for Chimpanzee Safari to Kibale National Park
After breakfast set again for Kibale National Park we’ll take the Western scenic route over looking Lake Albert via Hoima and a lunch break in Fort Portal town which is 34 kms from the Main Park. The Park is home to several families of primates including habituated chimpanzees. It has 11 species of primates, including many families of chimps and colobus monkeys, buffalo, warthog, Uganda Kob and over 300 bird species. Day 4: Chimpanzee Safari
Early in the morning proceed to Kibale National park headquarters 8:00am for chimpanzee safari. Tracking will begin and last for about 3hrs get back by mid noon. Chimpanzee safari in Kibale forest national park will thrill you; look out for primates like the colobus monkeys, families of chimps, a diversity of birds and an abundance of butterflies and other tropical insects. You will have a picnic lunch there, and then you will take an optional visit to the Bigodi wetland sanctuary a superb ecotourism site established to protect the Magombe swamps-a haven of birds (137 species) and a number of primates. Day 5: Drive back to Kampala
After breakfast, we will drive back to Kampala with Lunch en route, arriving in the afternoon.
